What is OCVA?

Oxfordshire Community and Voluntary Action (OCVA) is the main umbrella organisation for the voluntary and community sector in Oxfordshire. Our mission is to enable a diverse voluntary and community sector to flourish. We aim to do this by providing advice, information and training, acting as advocates and representatives, and building partnerships.

Latest news: Please note that the Furniture Store is now managed by Emmaus Oxford and not OCVA. To contact the store, phone 01865 763698 or email furniture@emmausoxford.org.

OCVA offers full membership to any voluntary or community organisation in Oxfordshire. Associate membership is open to others.

Our Resource Centre has a collection of books, videos, CD-Roms and subscription websites, including funding information, such as FunderFinder and the Directory of Social Change trustfunding website.

Volunteer Centre Oxfordshire  is accredited by Volunteering England as a volunteer Centre. You can contact us if you want more details on how to volunteer or if any organisations want to place volunteering opportunities or have volunteer management issues.

OCVA can assist voluntary and community groups, as well as individuals, with training.

There is a meeting room available for general use which groups with full membership can access at a reduced rate.

For further information on any aspect of our services, please contact us.

Please note that the Directory of Voluntary and Community Organisations is now searchable through www.oxnet.org.uk.
