Hospice Transport Driver

Sobell House Hospice Churchill Hospital Site
(£14,294 to £17,425 pro rata)
15 hours per week, shift pattern involving split shifts
Fixed term contract of 3 years. Possibility of extension at end of term.

As part of the team of staff and volunteers you will drive the hospice vehicles, providing a safe and reliable transport service for patients and their carers using the services of Sobell House.

Full training will be provided. A full driving licence is essential with no more than 3 penalty points at the time of application. Previous experience in a health care environment or community transport service is desirable.

Community Transport Driver (5 Days per week)

Aspire Oxford is recruiting a full-time Community Transport Driver (5 days a week)

The closing date is 5pm Friday 27th March.

The post holder will be responsible for providing a high quality passenger transport for our dial-a-ride service customers, by driving our 16-seater accessible vehicle, providing excellent customer service, maintaining records relating to such services, handling cash as required and contributing to the efficient operation of Community Transport. 

Salary range is £19,000 to £23,000 per annum. 37.5 hours per week, with 25 days annual leave.
